How do I create a free account?
Click "Join Free" at the top of any page. You can either:
Choose Continue with Google for instant one-tap sign-up using your Google account, or
Fill in your name, email, password (6+ characters) and favourite team to register with email.
Account creation is instant, takes under 30 seconds, and is 100% free. You'll be logged in automatically and can start predicting matches right away.
Is WC Predict 26 really 100% free?
Yes — the entire core game is free forever. That includes:
Predicting all 104 World Cup 2026 matches
Accessing the global leaderboard
Joining the live Fan Chat
Eligibility for all end-of-tournament prizes (iPhone 17 Pro Max, PS5, AirPods Pro 3, gift cards, jerseys)
Live match scores and prediction history
The optional Pro Predictor ($4.99/mo) and Legend ($9.99/mo) plans add quality-of-life features like ad-free experience, advanced stats, private leagues and exclusive badges — but you can compete for and win every prize on the free plan.
Do I need to download an app?
No. WC Predict 26 runs entirely in your browser — desktop, mobile, or tablet. You can add the site to your home screen for an app-like experience: on iPhone tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen"; on Android tap the browser menu → "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen".
What devices and browsers are supported?
Any modern device with internet access works: iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux. Supported browsers include Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Brave and Opera (latest two versions). Internet Explorer is not supported.
⚽ Predictions & Gameplay
How do I make a prediction?
Go to the Predict tab. Each upcoming match shows a card with both teams' flags. Tap one of three buttons: the home team's name (Team A wins), Draw, or the away team's name (Team B wins). Your prediction is saved instantly and locked once the match kicks off.
How does scoring work?
It's simple:
Correct prediction: +3 points
Incorrect prediction: 0 points
No prediction submitted: 0 points
The global leaderboard sorts players by total points. Tiebreakers in order: accuracy percentage, then total predictions made.
Can I change my prediction after a match starts?
No. The moment a match kicks off, predictions for that match are permanently locked and a "🔒 LIVE — Locked" badge appears on the match card. This keeps the game fair. You can still freely make or change predictions for any match that hasn't started yet.
What if I forget to predict a match?
No problem — there is no penalty for missing a prediction. You simply earn 0 points for that match. You can keep predicting future matches and still compete for prizes. Tip: turn on push notifications or follow us on Instagram for match-day reminders.
Can I predict knockout matches differently?
Group stage matches allow Team A win / Draw / Team B win. Knockout matches (Round of 32 onwards) cannot end in a draw in regulation; we will update the prediction options to "Team A advances / Team B advances" for knockout fixtures closer to those rounds.
🏆 Leaderboard & Prizes
How is the leaderboard calculated?
The leaderboard is recalculated in real time as match results are confirmed. Players are sorted by:
Total points (highest first)
Accuracy percentage (higher is better)
Total predictions made (more is better)
The top 3 players appear on the podium; the rest are listed in the ranking table below.
What prizes can I win?
At the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final on July 19, the global leaderboard is locked and prizes are awarded:

🥉 3rd place: Apple AirPods Pro 3
4th–10th place: Amazon gift cards (US$50–$200)
11th–50th place: Official replica jersey of the World Cup-winning nation

How do I claim a prize if I win?
Within 14 days of the World Cup 2026 final, we will email all winning accounts at the address registered. You will need to reply with:
A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, driving licence, national ID card)
Your full shipping address
Confirmation that you accept any local taxes/duties applicable in your country
Once verified, we ship within 30 days. Unclaimed prizes after 30 days may be re-awarded to the next eligible player.
Are there any country restrictions on winning?
We ship worldwide but some countries have import restrictions on electronics. If your country bans the import of consumer electronics, we will offer an equivalent-value alternative (Amazon gift card or bank transfer where legally permitted). Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of WC Predict 26 are not eligible.

How do I subscribe to Pro or Legend?
On the Premium tab, click the "Go Pro" or "Go Legend" button. You'll be redirected to our secure payment partner (Razorpay or PayPal depending on your region) to complete payment. Once paid, your account is upgraded instantly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Email support@wcpredict26.com with the subject "Cancel subscription" from your registered email. Your premium benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period. There are no cancellation fees.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are at our discretion and usually granted only for:
Duplicate charges due to technical error
Service unavailable for more than 7 consecutive days
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial-month cancellations. You can cancel anytime and continue to enjoy the plan until the end of your billing cycle.

What is Fan Chat?
Fan Chat is a public real-time chat room where all WC Predict 26 users can discuss matches, share predictions, and connect with fellow fans worldwide. Open it by clicking the 💬 chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of any page.
Are there chat rules?
Yes. Please be respectful:
No hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia or discrimination
No spam, advertising or external links
No personal attacks or harassment of other users
No sharing of personal/contact information (your own or others')
English-language is recommended for global reach, but other languages are welcome
Click your username/avatar in the top-right corner of the navigation bar, then click Logout. On mobile, open the menu (hamburger icon) and tap Logout. Your predictions stay saved on this device and you can log back in anytime.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Email support@wcpredict26.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject "Password reset". We'll send you a reset link within 24 hours. If you signed up using Google, simply click Continue with Google again — there's no password to remember.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@wcpredict26.com with the subject "Delete my account" from your registered address. Within 7 business days we permanently remove your account, predictions, chat history and personal data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Google OAuth, and minimal data collection. We never sell your data. Read the full Privacy Policy for complete details.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
My predictions aren't saving. What do I do?
Try these steps in order:
Make sure you are logged in (your avatar should appear in the top-right corner)
Check that the match hasn't already started — predictions lock at kickoff
Refresh the page (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R)
Make sure cookies and localStorage are enabled in your browser settings
Try a different browser to rule out an extension blocking the site
If the problem persists, email support@wcpredict26.com with your browser/device and a screenshot.
The leaderboard isn't updating.
The leaderboard updates automatically as match results are confirmed and processed. Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R) to force a fresh fetch. Some delays during high-traffic finals are normal.
Why is this match locked when it hasn't started yet?
Lock state is based on your device's local clock. If your device clock is set incorrectly (wrong timezone or time), the site may show matches as locked. Check your device's date and time settings.
