- Account information: display name, email address, password (stored hashed where applicable), and favourite team selection when you register.
- Google Sign-In data: if you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address and profile picture as authorised by Google.
- Predictions and gameplay: the match outcomes you predict, the points you earn and your leaderboard position.
- Chat messages: any messages you voluntarily post in the public Fan Chat are visible to other users.
- Communications: emails, contact-form submissions and support tickets you send to us.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Cookies & local storage: we use cookies and your browser's localStorage to keep you logged in, remember your predictions, and analyse traffic.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account.
- To record and display your predictions, points and leaderboard ranking.
- To enable the public Fan Chat between users.
- To send essential service emails (account confirmation, prize notifications, important policy updates).
- To display relevant advertisements (see Section 4).
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR users)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom or Switzerland, our legal bases include: your consent (cookies, marketing), performance of a contract (account & gameplay), legitimate interests (security, analytics), and legal obligation.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication tokens (Google OAuth), Firebase security rules and limited employee access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, Indian DPDP Act 2023, etc.), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
